Where did you have your Op and which Neurosurgeon?
There has been a lot of questions on the forum recently about which Neurosurgeons we would all recommend and why, where they practice etc
I went in to Salford Royal to have mine and was operated on by Mr P L Richardson. he has now since retired and I am unsure as to who will be his replacement (if any)

I had my decompression surgery on December 15th '09, by Mr Bukhari at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff (known locally as 'The Heath'). Everything went well, and I was happy with the care I had there.
Had Decompression done by Dr. Steinberg at Stanford Hospital in California. Incredible hospital, great staff. The most knowledgeable Doctors and nurses I have ever had dealings with. Dr. Steinberg is the Chairman of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. He is very personable and friendly.
I went to the Walton Center for Neurology in Liverpool, and was under Mr Findlay, he was and still is a fantastic surgeon, they now have a Syringomyela/Chiari team there!
