My Mother-in-Law has written a book!

berylbook.jpg

Well, I couldn't be more proud of my Mother-in-Law Beryl.

She has written a really interesting and very funny book about her experiences and exploits as a Cadet Nurse in the 60's.

It really is rather good to be fair......not 2 words that a guy usually associates with his Mother-in-Law!

"The official sales blurb"

This light hearted book goes back in time when cadet nurses still existed and student nurses trained and worked in the hospitals. The book was launched on the 13th August 2009 and was instantly well received with 70 books sold in the first few days. If you like to have a giggle but also want to read what it was like to work back in the days of matron, when you had to ask matron's permission to get married if you were under 21 and you needed permission to stay out later than 10:30pm. Then this is the book for you.

Please feel free to order it and have a read. It is available from the following sources:

Amazon - click this link to go to the listing.

Direct from Beryl - I think its cheaper this way?

Contact her on beryl@beryld.plus.com

It really is good and would make an idea Christmas present for someone who would appreciate it - don't have to be in nursing to appreciate it - after all I did!
