Mini Bio

Hi, my name is Chris. I am 40 years old, married to Sharon and have 2 young children. I have Chiari and Syringomyelia and went through Decompression surgery in April 2009. The aim of this blog is to raise awareness of this condition and offer support by way of helpful information to other sufferers. This blog represents my own experiences, those of my friends and people that I have met with these conditions and the great advice that I have been offered and my journey towards either acceptance or recovery.

Chiari / Fibromyalgia and the H1N1 Flu Virus Vaccine

IMPORTANT H1N1 INFORMATION FOR FIBRO/CFIDS /CHRONIC NEUROLOGICAL ILLNESS

This is a must read by Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Kent Holtorf in the USA for anyone with mitrochondrial dysfunction, chronic neurological illnesses, fibromyalgia and ME/CFS not get the vaccine. To use his word, he has seen it “devastate” people with FM and ME/CFS.

Please watch the video to learn more about the swine flu and its vaccine. http://www.fibrotv.com/important-h1n1-information-for-fibrocfids.html

Obviously I am not medically trained and cannot make a comment about the validity of this information in relation to your own medical condition(s) However, personally this has given me the ability to take the question to my own GP should I decide to go ahead with receiving the Vaccine. It obviously presents me with the option to investigate it more thoroughly and with the ability to make my decision with more available information.
If you are concerned then consult your GP or get advice from your neurosurgeon.

Evidently this person has some fringe-quacky ideas (somehow "Fox News" says it all.)

Quacky?

Of course his ideas are based upon medical facts and resources and yours are based on what? What you chose to read?

Don't want to get into any arguments here, but as long as there is info out there that may help someone make ma decision a little easier or help to ask the right question, then I am going to try and help.
